Teen Summer Reading

YA Header

Summer Reading runs from June 30 - August 19, 2017

Teens (ages 12 - 19) can sign up online for the summer reading program. Earn prizes, join us for events just for teens, and discover great books. It's easy to get started!

Roll up your sleeves and take part in the Puyallup Public Library's new summer reading program. This year's theme, Build a Better World, will encourage you to look at your home, your community, and the world around you.

What does it take to build a better world? Learn a language, discover a new author, try a new hobby, or create your own art. All these activities - and so many more - are a part of our teen summer reading program. You can complete activities to earn badges and prizes, all while building a better world a little bit at a time.

To complete the teen summer reading program, you must:

  • Review 5 books
  • Earn 3 activity badges (by completing 9 different activities)

That's it! Once you complete the program, you'll receive a free book, a ticket to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium OR Northwest Trek, and vouchers for free stuff from McDonalds, Auntie Anne's, and other local businesses.

To access this year's summer reading program, visit puyalluplibrary.beanstack.org. You can register yourself, as well as members of your family. If you need assistance, library staff are available to help you sign up at staff desks.
