PuliCon 2020 is Cancelled
Governor Inslee has extended the stay-home order through May 4, 2020, so PuliCon and Comic Book Day are cancelled. We intend to come back better than ever on Saturday, May 1, 2021, so please stay tuned and stay safe. If you applied to be a vendor or panelist, you should receive an email about the cancellation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this and hope you will join us in 2021. Should you need to contact us about PuliCon, please use the contact information below.

PuliCon 2020 and Free Comic Book Day coincide to bring you a day of cosplay fun! Wear your favorite gear, have your picture taken by a professional photographer, snag a few popular comics, visit our talented artists and meet like-minded folks for games and crafts. All events are completely free and open to all ages.
Vendor Opportunities
Vendor applications to PuliCon are now closed. Applications are still being accepted for program proposals. As of 3/24/2020, PuliCon has not been cancelled. Please check back for updates after April 6, 2020 when the two-week state-wide closure period is over. Thank you for your continued interest!
The PuliCon Planning Committee will do the initial review of vendor applications on February 4, 2020.Vendors will receive notification of approval or denial within five business days of this review. Applications received after February 4, 2020 will receive notification of approval or denial within ten business days of receipt of your application.
The deadline to apply for PuliCon’s Artist Alley is March 17, 2020. However, the Puyallup Public Library reserves the right to close applications at an earlier date should all available spaces become full. If you wish to apply for vendor space, please review and complete the application and be sure to read the guidelines to become familiar with the set-up options for the event. You must also read and sign the license agreement. There are no fees to participate in PuliCon. Artist booths are assigned on a first come, first served basis, so apply early! Call for Program Proposals
Do you have a passion for geek culture? Do you know how to make the best armor, illustrate comics, or have another great trade? The Puyallup Public Library is looking for creative people who want to share their talents and host a program at Pulicon 2020! Programs can include panel discussions, how-to workshops, lectures, or crafts. Please fill out the application below and return it to the PuliCon Planning Committee (contact info listed above).
Applications are due by Saturday, March 14th, 2020. You will receive an email confirmation when your application is received. All applications will be evaluated by library staff to determine if programs are in the spirit of Pulicon and will appeal to most who are attending the event. Applicants will be notified of approval or denial of their application within 10 days of the due date. Due to limited accommodations for programs, we will not be able to accept all applications. The library reserves the right to close the application process early should all available space for programs becomes full.
