Finance Department

Responsibilities

The Finance Department handles the daily administration of accounting services for the City. This includes administrating payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grants administration, as well as providing financial consulting services for each department. In addition, the Finance Department plans and implements the City’s budget. The City Budget is created bi-annually to ensure that the City’s financial obligations and long-term goals are met.

The Finance Department oversees the City’s Utility Billing, which includes water, sewer, and stormwater. To learn more about the City’s utility rates, and how they are determined, please go to our Utility Rates page.
